I've teamed sample-sized pots of my favourite Fusion Mineral Paint with one of my designs along with a painting kit and step-by-step instructions to show you how to upcycle your own piece of furniture!
Kit No 1 is inspired by the piece I did for a demo at the Fusion Leeds launch party at Chirpy in Chapel Allerton. The table belonged to Jo from Chirpy and although it wasn't in the best condition with veneer coming loose we managed to give it a nice little upcycle and a whole new look!
The table has a really cool arrow-shape design so I created a design in sections and applied in Ash, Homestead Blue and Mustard. I also added a stripe of Bronze Metallic too before finishing it all up with Hemp Oil to enhance and give a subtle sheen. You could also finish it with Fusion's Matte Tough Coat to give even more protection.
Follow the steps I used to recreate the look or freestyle your own! There is enough paint to paint a whole small piece if you want to as well as create the design. This project would work just as well on a chair, stool, box or tray.
Each purchase also includes access to a special Done up North member's club on Facebook where you can come and ask for any advice on this project or others and share pictures with other members.
