READY TO COMMISSION: Stunning Walnut veneer & gold leaf cocktail cabinet sideboard
I have a new one in stock ready to commission to the same standard as the finished images.
Please note: the new piece has a slightly different middle section which could be left to a simple or could be embellished with a gold-leaf design for no extra cost.
The striking Beautility sideboard created in 1957 features walnut veneered bi-fold doors, a patented hidden cocktail cabinet that pulls out to reveal display shelves and a central compartment with a mirrored back and a drinks-making surface, as well as concealed full-depth handle-less drawers to the base.
The new piece will be fully stripped back to reveal the beautiful wood grain of the various veneers that have been used - Walnut to the doors, Flame Oak to the top and sides and Sepele on the the drawers and uprights - and refinished to enhance the colours and protect in use. The interior is Teak and will be re-oiled to refresh it.
The striking curved legs, ledge and edges of the piece will be similarly enhanced by refinishing them in gold leaf. Gold leaf detailing will added to the handles and cocktail cabinet interior. All of the metal leaf is also given the same highly protective top coat.
Please note: the new piece has a slightly wood on its middle section which could be stripped an refinished or could be embellished with a gold-leaf design if preferred for no extra cost.
Dimensions: 83cm high x 154cm wide x 47cm deep
This piece is a vintage piece so do expect some signs of previous use as befits it's age, however every effort has been made to restore and enhance the original beauty of this piece.
