Find out how to completely transform old furniture with wallpaper to give it a whole new luxe look!
On this workshop you'll be able to transform a piece of furniture and learn how to paint, decoupage and protect your newly decoupaged piece.
On day one you'll be shown how to prep, paint and apply your chosen paper ready to put a protective finish onto. This can either be done at home or left to dry overnight for the second day.
The second day will cover finishing touches and protective finishes in detail. You'll need a small piece of furniture with several flat surfaces to apply paper to, such as a bedside cabinet, chest of drawers or side table with sides or shelves. Please note: it won't be possible to decoupage a whole sideboard as pictured! But you will learn how to do it for your next project ;) All other materials will be supplied including a selection of wallpapers. If you have a very specific design in mind it is a good idea to bring some paper along with you.
NB: Large samples can work as long as you are able to use one continuous piece. Perfect pattern matching often isn't possible or between two pieces of cut paper from different sections of a roll.
A light Lunch will be provided along with snacks and refreshments throughout both days.
Day 1 - 10- 5pm
