UPDATE: This piece is scheduled to be re-styled in Black - please see the images. It is available in the current Grey colourway for £975.
This beautifully shaped and proportioned 1950s vintage sideboard has been completely re-designed with a unique wooden baton and hand painted chevron design to accentuate the original wood of the piece.
The exterior of the piece has been re-finished from its previous Formica look with a soft warm mid Grey colour and a warm off-white which tone perfectly with the original stripped and refinished wood surround.
The sideboard is the same rich warm toned wood inside so this has been retained and restored to provide a contrast.
It has plenty of storage with three large cupboards and 3 drawers. The left and central cupboards have 2/3rd depth shelves that can be easily removed if preferred.
The central section features a drop down door so it can function perfectly as a drinks sideboard to store bottles and glasses.
The original handles and fittings have been retained and updated to match the Bronze metallic paint in the design. The metal 50s legs have been refinished in the warm white.
Height: 85cm. Width: 120.5cm. Depth 38.5cm.
Internally the cupboards are 42cm high. The left and right are 32.5cm and the central section is 48.5cm
This is a genuine upcycled vintage item that has had a previous life and it may have minor imperfections relative its age and wear and tear over the years. As it has been lovingly restored and refinished by hand you should expect a high quality craftsman's finish rather than a machine/factory finish.
