CONSULTATION: Upcycling Review & Design

By re-purposing and upcycling you can really make the most of what you have already have and create something really unique and stylish that needn't break the bank. 

Everything from furniture, to furnishings & fabrics, accessories and even fixtures and fittings has the potential to be transformed… all you might need is some ideas & inspiration and perhaps some 'how to' guidance. 

I can help you discover the possibilities to Re-care for what you already have!

Whether for your home, business or organisation, knowing what you can repair, re-purpose and re-style can help you revamp your spaces in a sustainable, creative and cost-efficient way.  

This session incorporates a full review of the key areas you would like to focus on and we'll talk through design ideas and decorative upcycling techniques. 

Together we'll identify the things you can do to enhance and change up your existing furniture, furnishings, fittings and décor.   

You'll end up with a plan of action for items to upcycle and product recommendations and technique guides to help you make the changes afterwards.

Think of it like a decluttering session where we identify your favourite, key pieces except we're not binning the rest! 

We're going to explore the opportunities to re-work other, currently less loved and lovable pieces to make them fit in better. 

Still functional or solid, sentimental or tired and dated, the options are well worth looking at so you can maximise things you already own.

We can also talk colour schemes & decorative details to bring everything together.

If you would like me to go on to develop a full design scheme with mood boards and design mock ups that can be arranged after the session but there is no obligation.

You are totally free to implement the advice by yourself.  

The action plan will also include recommendations for the best refinishing products and processes to make the best job of up-dating them.

Or we can book a follow-up 1-to-1 to work together on getting you going, if that works better. 

And if you would much rather hand over to a Pro totally to do the actual work for you then that's fine too!

The Session:
 
*We'll have an initial phone chat before the session itself to set out what we're tackling and make a plan of attack for when we are together. 

The session itself will be 3-4 hours reviewing together and capturing a rough plan of action for what we've covered. 

Following the session, I'll then create you a more detailed report with recommendations for product and processes.  

If you would like any mock ups images or mood boards created to help visualise the changes that can be done either on an hourly rate or as a design package. 


Sessions are suitable for both homes & organisations 

For sessions more than an hour away, travel time is £10 per hour additionally.
